Hey there everyone!
First, I want to say thank you all for reading Age of Night and following this adventure. It means the world to me to have people keeping up with the story, sharing it with others, and eagerly awaiting the next volume when I talk to them at conventions. Having other people get excited about the stories and characters I pull out of my brain is truly amazing. Seriously, it’s the best.
I have tried to keep updating Age of Night as consistently as possible given that it is a project of passion and not of profit. However, sometimes life has bigger things to throw at you that makes keeping up with a weekly webcomic kind of difficult. In this case, I’m expecting to have my second child sometime in the next couple of weeks. Any of you who have been close to this baby-rearing thing know that for the first few months it’s hard to find time to shower and eat, nevermind to keep up with page updates. Therefore, Age of Night will be taking a bit of a break while I start on my newest adventure. I figured the end of this scene, about halfway through the current chapter, was a good place in the story to pause.
Rest assured that I will still be picking away at pages and scripts so that I can return to regular updates as soon as possible. Keep an eye out here and on Twitter and Facebook, and I’ll let you know as soon as I’m ready to return to this adventure.
